THINKING ABOUT WHAT REALLY MATTERS TO US

It is energizing and refreshing when we allow ourselves to move away from our way-too-busy routines and think about deeper matters, about those things that really matter to us!

Each January, the U.S. Bishops Conference provides us a calendar of ideas about how we can make a difference in our own and other people's lives by taking a deeper look at the roots and effects of poverty.  Few of us have time to read and reflect on all that is contained on the calendar, so here's a suggestion. Once a week or maybe just once this month, CLICK HERE to view the calendar.  Then pick a day's topic that interests you.  For instance, pick January 13 which says:

January 13.

MARTIN LUTHER KING DAY AWARD, PRAYER SERVICE AND SERVICE PROJECT

Interfaith Community Martin Luther King Day Service Award

We are happy to announce that St. Michael's parishioner Kevin Mahoney is to receive the Cranford Clergy Council and Interfaith Human Relations Committee's 2018 Rev. • Being part of the MOM group at St. Michael's has enhanced my spiritual life. When I come to Mass on Sunday, I always see a friendly face and feel a strong sense of community.

  • St. Michael's has been my parish for 40 years.  I received all my sacraments here.  I married a wonderful man and baptized my three children here. This is the Parish in which we have chosen to raise our children and teach them their faith.  It's the people of St. Michael's who make the difference. Join one of the many ministries and you will meet wonderfully caring people devoted to making St. Michaels and Cranford a better place.

    -MK Santulli-
  • When my family and I moved to Cranford, we were looking for a Church that offered opportunities to get involved and learn beyond Mass. From the robust Youth programs to adult education opportunities -- we found what we were looking for at St. Michael's.
