Operation Shoebox
Please join St. Michael’s School & Parish as we support our Troops with Operation Shoebox
When: NEW DATE: Saturday, MAY 10, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Where: St. Michael’s School Cafeteria
What: A “packing event” to support the Operation Shoebox organization which is an all-volunteer grass roots organization dedicated to collecting and shipping donated care packages to U.S. troops based in Afghanistan and other Middle Eastern countries.
Donation: Items can be dropped off during school hours at the school office or the Parish Center. Please bring donations prior to MAY 10.
What We Need (small, non-aerosol items)
- Lip balm
- Sun block
- Moist wipes
- Bars of soap
- Small bottles of shampoo
- Deodorant
- Powdered drink mixes
- Cereal/snack/granola bars
- Boxes of hot chocolate
- Microwave popcorn
- Athletic socks
- Gum and candy
- Small bags of trail mix, peanuts, pretzels
- Pens, writing paper, envelopes
- Gallon size zipper bags
