A New Season of Faith Exploration Begins; Theme “Evangelizing the Culture”

Explorations in Faith and Spirituality are monthly sessions, occurring on the second Tuesday of each month, September thru May.

Session Times:  12:50 PM – 2:15 PM and 7:30 PM – 9:00 PM

BarronThis year’s theme is Understanding and Living a Catholic Life in Today’s Culture.  Content for the first five sessions:  Five 25-30 minute lunchtime lectures give by Fr. Robert Barron to Chicago’s business, political and cultural leaders on the overall topic “Evangelizing the Culture.” The talks were part of the Mission Chicago evangelization effort and were presented at the University Club and the Union League Club, both in downtown Chicago.

Session 2:  The Role of the Laity in the Transformation of Society

Session 3:  The Church’s Social Teaching in Regard to Capitalism

Session 4:  Evangelizing Through Beauty

Session 5:  Politics as a Moral Enterprise
