Cranford’s Church Women United is Seeking New Members

cwuChurch Women United is a racially, culturally, theologically inclusive Christian women’s movement, celebrating unity in diversity and working for a world of peace and justice.

Founded in 1941, Church Women United is a movement representing Protestant, Roman Catholic, Orthodox and other Christian women.  CWU is organized into more than 1,200 local and state units all encouraging and working for peace and justice.

The Cranford CWU meets from September-June on the fourth Tuesday of each month, from 1-3 p.m.
In addition, there are special events: a Friendship Day, a Community Day and a World Day of Prayer. We have hosted some of their events in our Sarah Black Room.

If you are interested, please contact Lois Hasselmann at 908-789-0640.
