SYNOD ON SYNODALITY – CONTINENTAL STAGE

February letter from the General Sectrtariat of the Synod with links to what is happening and going to happen throughout the world during this Continental Stage of the Synod. We encourage you to take some time to watch and listen to what Pope Francis calls the Spirit working through us to as we cooperate with the Spirit “enlargening the Tent of the Church.”

Dear brothers and sisters in Christ
We have reached the culminating moment of the Continental Stage: the continental synodal assemblies. . . . To follow the work, we have set up a portal (https://synod2023.org If the page is empty, click of Home or News in the upper right corner of the screen.) that gives you access to the specific sites for each continental assembly.

We suggest the Oceania Second Session whose assemblies are focusing on “What does being in communion mean for us and for all of creation?”  We tend to focus on the needs of the People of God living on our own locale. This is an opportunity to enlarge our tent by listening for the voice of the Spirit spoken through the words of the people from other parts of God’s world.
