A CHRISTMAS MESSAGE

Dear Parishioners and Friends of St. Michael’s,

I want to wish you all a Happy Holiday Season, especially a Blessed Christmas and a Happy and Healthy New Year! I also would like to use this note as an introduction of myself to you all. Cardinal Joseph Tobin assigned me as the 15th Pastor of St. Michael Parish, beginning on July 1, 2023 and I was officially installed as Pastor on October 29, 2023, in a beautiful ceremony.

Since I have gotten here, you parishioners, the parish and school staffs, and all the ministry groups, have all been incredibly kind and particularly welcoming, which has allowed my transition to St. Michael’s to be comfortable and easy. Thank you to all who have welcomed me so nicely. I look forward to my future years of service here, as well as the great things that we will all certainly do and achieve as a parish.

At the same time, I want to use this as an opportunity to welcome you to the Church of St. Michael during this Christmas Season. Perhaps you have been away from the church for a while or you have gone elsewhere for Mass and/or the Holiday Season. I would like to personally invite you to come to St. Michael for the celebration of the Eucharist not just during the holiday season, but for every week of many years to come.

I promise that we will have beautiful celebrations together as we continue on our spiritual journey. Fr. Sebastian and I, as well as the parish staff, will be joyful in seeing you during this Christmas season and the many days to come in the new year. Be assured that Fr. Sebastian and I always remember you in our prayers and ask that you pray for us as well.

Blessings to you at this Christmas Season,

Fr. Marc A. Vicari, Pastor
